Football scores without the spoilers
Recorded the match? Watching on a delay, or catching the replay after work? Ninety keeps results hidden until you decide to see them, everywhere in the app.
Hidden by default, not as an afterthought
Most score apps were built to shout the result at you. Ninety starts the other way round: the first time you open it, every recent score is covered. You choose how far that goes. Hide my teams covers the clubs you follow and leaves everything else visible. Hide all covers every recent result. Show all turns the feature off.
You also choose how long a result counts as a spoiler: one day, three days or a week. Older results always show, because nobody is still waiting to watch a match from last month.
Everything that could give it away is covered too
A score is not the only spoiler. A table that has just moved, a team’s recent form, live win chances that swing to 95%, a headline that says “Lazio stun Turin”, a match thread full of celebrations: each of these tells you what happened. Ninety covers all of them while the match is hidden for you:
- Goals and key moments are hidden on the match page; line-ups, injuries and venue stay visible.
- The league table and a club’s league position are covered when they would reveal a recent result.
- Live win chances and match stats are covered during and after a hidden match.
- News headlines that name your team after a hidden result are folded away with a “Show” button.
- In club and match chat, messages posted after kick-off are covered until you tap to read them.
- The lock screen live score respects the same setting.
Reveal one match, not the whole weekend
Tap a covered score and only that match is revealed. The rest of the day stays hidden, so finishing the early kick-off does not spoil the late one. The eye icon at the top shows every match that had already finished when you tapped it; anything still being played, or played later, stays covered until you tap it on its own. That rule exists because the most common way to get spoiled is opening an app to check one result and seeing another.
Who it is for
Fans in different time zones watching European football on replay. Parents who record the game and watch after bedtime. Anyone with a Saturday 3pm kick-off that is not on television in their country who catches the highlights later. Fantasy managers who want line-ups and injury news without the scores. If you have ever turned your phone face down to avoid a notification, Ninety is built for you.
Questions
Does Ninety hide scores in notifications too?
Kick-off alerts never include a score, and the lock screen live score follows your spoiler setting. If a match is hidden for you, the lock screen shows the match clock without the score.
Can I hide scores for one team only?
Choose Hide my teams and follow only that club. Every other result stays visible.
How long are results hidden?
One, three or seven days after kick-off, your choice. Results older than that always show.
Is it free?
Yes. Ninety is free on iPhone, Android and the web, with no account needed to use it.
